Paying for CDL training doesn’t have to mean going into debt. Interstate Truck Driving School (ITDS) offers financing through Climb Credit and can point you toward grant and workforce funding that may cover part or all of your training cost.
ITDS has partnered with Climb Credit for several years to offer students a straightforward way to pay for CDL training. The application is online and takes a few minutes to complete.
How it works:
Many carriers that hire ITDS graduates, including Werner and Schneider, offer tuition reimbursement. That reimbursement often covers some or all of the monthly Climb Credit payment once you’re on the job.
Apply for Climb Credit Financing
Approval from Climb Credit is not the last step. You’ll need to visit the ITDS campus in person to register and pay your $500 down payment. ITDS cannot hold a start date until registration and payment are complete.
Call 651-735-9250 to schedule a registration appointment at the West St. Paul campus, 33 Wentworth Ave Suite #120.
Grant funding and workforce assistance programs may cover some or all of your CDL training cost, depending on your eligibility. Requirements and applications are handled directly by each funding organization, not by ITDS.
Students who aren’t approved can look into grant funding and workforce assistance instead. Call 651-735-9250 to talk through other options.
The $500 down payment is paid to ITDS directly, in person, when you register at the West St. Paul campus.
It depends on the funding source. Contact the grant organization directly to confirm whether the two can be combined.
Contact Climb Credit directly for questions about an application in progress.
The two processes are separate and can be started at the same time. Grant eligibility and applications are handled by each funding organization, not by ITDS or Climb Credit.
