Class B Training Program Overview

If you’re looking for a CDL that opens doors to driving opportunities close to home, a Class B license may be the right fit. Whether you’re entering the industry for the first time or transitioning from a different field, our program is built around hands-on training, real vehicles, and one-on-one support.

Because Class B vehicles don’t have trailers, they’re generally easier to operate—and that means a shorter training window, a higher pass rate, and faster entry into the workforce.

What You’ll Learn

Pre-trip vehicle inspections
Backing techniques and basic maneuvers
Safe operation of straight trucks (with air brakes)
FMCSA regulations and Class B CDL requirements
In-vehicle, range, and simulator training (as needed)

How It Works

Week 1:

Day 1–2: Full-day classroom instruction (8 AM–4 PM)
Day 3–5: On-campus hands-on training begins (8 AM–4 PM)

Week 2–3:

Flexible schedule with instructor-monitored practice and appointments
Most students are test-ready by the end of Week 3 or early in Week 4

Enrollment Requirements

U.S. citizenship or qualifying visa
Valid driver’s license (any class)
DOT physical (scheduled Week 2 if not already valid)
English comprehension (evaluated during in-person registration)
