Freight is still strong and hiring is up!.
One of the trucking companies that hire our students was on campus today and let us know that freight volume is up and the demand for new drivers is up. Schneider, out of Green Bay Wisconsin, has a wide variety of job opportunities right now. The demand is expected to go up in the next few months. Schneider does a lot of contract work with stores like Dollar General and those stores really need a continuous supply of products to meet the present demand during the Health Crisis. The only way those stores and their customers are going to get the goods they need is if a truck driver delivers it.
We do have limited openings in our classes. Please contact our enrollment team at our main campus at 651-735-9250 for availability.

The state of Minnesota has shut down road testing facilities. The good news is we have a sister school in Hudson Wisconsin that can provide our Minnesota students to access to the Federally regulated CDL testing process in Wisconsin.
More good news: the Minnesota knowledge testing locations are still open giving students access to the permit testing for the CDL Permit.
Because of our limited capacity during this Health Emergency, we do have limited enrollment. Please give our office a call at 651-735-9250 for more Information and class availability. You can also email us at info@interstatedriving.com.
More good news: There are still job opportunities for CDL drivers. There are 19 ads TODAY on Craigslist for CDL drivers.

March 16th 2020 CORONAVIRUS UPDATE at Interstate Truck Driving School
Safety has always been our first priority. Given the current Health Crisis, we have downsized our student enrollment to a maximum of eight students per week. Our classroom facilities can handle up to 35 students at one time, however, in order to comply with the latest guidelines from both state and federal authorities, we have reduced the number of students we have on campus at any one time.
We also predict and continuing need for new truck drivers. We anticipate that in order to deal with the unexpected unemployment of many Americans, the state and federal government will ramp up infrastructure spending to provide good paying jobs for any that are able and willing to do the work. We all know just how bad our roads and bridges need updates and repairs. This will be the perfect opportunity for our country to serve more than one need and provide for our future.
We will provide constant updates on our training programs and job opportunities as they develop.
