You will notice our list of graduates are from all different age brackets, ethnic backgrounds, and a significant percentage of women drivers. One of the things we love the most is being able to help our Veterans. As a Vietnam Vet, Bill Collins is passionate about getting those who have served our country opportunities to provide for themselves and their family. Devin is a recent graduate who made the most of that opportunity. We loved having him here and wish him the very best.

Larger than life. That's the best way to describe Diarra T. His journey has led to many places and now it led to the front door of our school. With our training Diarra now has the credentials to join any truck driving company that hires students, and make up to $90,000 per year. We hope to see him again.
Katherine came in with two things in mind. 1. Get the CDL and drive team with her husband. 2. Conquer the program so she can be the safest driver possible. After giving 110% she did both. Now she's driving with her man across the country. We are so happy for Katherine.
William is a man of few words but many talents. One of them just happens to be driving truck. He came through our school and with our flexibility was able to work while pushing forward to a future in trucking. We wish him the very best of luck.
Maria is one of those students that you root for from the moment you meet her. She's got a fire that is rare in this industry. No question she will go far. Congrats!!!

Mason is really starting out on a successful career at a young age. He worked hard to learn the skills necessary to complete the program and all of the instructors enjoyed working with him.
When Mason "rang the bell" after graduating, the TV crew from KSTP Minnesota Live was on campus preparing for a story that will air at 9AM on Wednesday June 14th on Channel 5. It will be interesting to see if KSTP includes video of Mason graduating in the program.
Nathan, like so many of our other students is in the process of re-inventing his career. The trucking industry is the perfect choice for him with his varied interests. Nathan is to be commended for his stick-to-it attitude....he worked his butt off and passed his first road test in a manual transmission with no problems.
Ben did a great job and breezed right through his training and was a pleasure to work with while working full time at the Metropolitan Airport Commission. He has a positive attitude that he shared with us every time he was on campus.
John was great to work with. His positive attitude is infectious and lifts the spirits of everyone in the room. Everyone here, both staff and his fellow students, appreciated interacting with him.
Neng really did an awesome job with his training. He could not attend full time so we arranged a flexible schedule for him. We respect his dedication and determination to see the training through to completion. When he was ready for his test, Mother Nature did not cooperate and he was snowed out twice. But just as he had throughout his training, he did not let the weather deter him from his goal and he successfully passed the test the first time out when the roads cleared up. Congratulations Neng, we are all very proud of you and your accomplishments.
Kassim did a great job while training with us. He started in late November which means he faced the challenges of a Minnesota winter throwing cold temperatures and heavy snows at him.
Kassim overcame those obstacles and passed his first attempt at the CDL Road Test. He is to be Congratulated for his focus and dedication to getting the job done.
Darrel was a great student to have here at Interstate Truck Driving School and we expect that he will be a great driver for many years to come.

Garth put the time and effort into get the job done. He passed his first attempt at the Pre-Trip Inspection Test and the Backing manuvers on the test but ran into a bit of sensory overload during the driving portion of the test. We appreciate how good the examiners are at making sure our students are safe drivers and Garth did a great job at taking the test as a learning opportunity. We got him back in for a test a week later and he passed without any problem at all.
Az worked very hard and did a great job following instructions from staff. He passed his first attempt at the CDL road test without any trouble. Good driver and he already has a job lined up in Rochester.
Victor did an excellent job with his training at Interstate. He missed a few items on his pre-trip inspection during his first test but we were able to get him back in for a second test two days later and he pased with flying colors. We really admire his determination to overcome his minor setback and demonstrate he has the skills to drive the big rigs safely.

Excellent work Habtamu. We have a strong respect for students that are multi tasking and working while attending our program. We are dedicated to being as flexible as possible to accommodate our student's schedules but bottom line, everyone cannot drive the truck as the same time if we are keep full time instructors busy for a full week of work so we need students to be patient with scheduling when they have restrictions in their availability. We really approbate your working with us and understanding that it does take more time for students in your situation.
Iria was very dedicated and worked deligently to accieve success. He passed his first road test in manual transmission which is a huge accomlishment for him.

Adinew is one of our ESL students and he worked really hard to learn how to drive legally and safely. He passed his road test.

As Robert mentioned, he had never backed a trailer of any kind prior to enrolling at Interstate. We pride ourselves in a program that supports students to learn at their own pace to a level of professional skill and confidence.
Jonathan did a great job learning how to drive the manual transmission trucks. He progressed continuously throughout the program and is now headed to FedEx Ground.
Gus started his training some time ago but it was interrupted by reasons beyond his control. When he was able to devote his time toward his training he progressed continuously and passed his first attempt at the CDL road test.
Mahad did a GREAT job while training with us. He passed his first attempt at the road test and completed the program in less than six weeks.

Daniel has several options now that he has completed our Professional Tractor Trailer Training Program. He was able to master the shifting of 10 speed transmissions so his opportunities are unlimited.
It is always great to see our students succeed. Cayla can be very proud of her accomplishment here at Interstate.
Bryce is one of many of our students that passed his road test the first time. He did a great job working around his schedule to complete the program.
Evan did a great job. He started in October and then took some time off. He came back when he had the time, took some more time off, and then finished up when he had the time to devote to his training. Evan is a U.S. Veteran and we applaud his service to this country. We have no doubt he will be successful in the trucking industry. He is keeping his options open for now but looking for something near his hometown.
Veteran Geoffrey S. needed a change and thought that getting his CDL would be a great start. After working with our instructors Geoffrey was not only able to pass his road test, but was able to obtain a level of confidence that he would not have recieved elsewhere.
Khalid E. came through our Professional Program and was not only able to pass his Class A Road Test, but was also given extra time with more real world training to help him transision into his new career. He's hoping to start driving for Swift.
We are very proud to have trained Charles. He's a good worker and has a excellent mindset. He's not sure who he's going to be driving for but no matter what company he chooses that company will be getting a stellar driver.
Dushaun K. came into our school with no experience. However in less than two months he not only obtained his Class A CDL, he also got a job with a local sanitation company. He put in the work and showed that if you out the time in and the effort you will not only get your CDL but also gain a new level of self confidence along the way.
Laurie C. wanted to be able to start a new career in trucking. With some help from the Washington County WFC she was able to achieve that goal. With no prior knowledge she kept a "can do" attitude during her time and is now a Commerical Truck Driver. She's hoping to be driving for Halvor in the near future.
Lawrence came in to our school wanting to get into a Truck Driving career. He already had some knowledge but needed the training to solidify his skills. He passed his first road test and breezed through the course in 5 weeks. In a few days, he'll be driving for Schneider.
Krista N. is a student that changes the mold for others to follow. She came in determined to get the trainin done in a timely manner and that's exactly what she did. She started, passed her first road test and finished her course in less than 5 weeks. She has set a new standard.
Scott from Blaine MN has just comepleted his 160 Professional Tractor Trailer Course. He came in knowing that he had a lot to learn. After believing in the course and the process he passed his first road test and completed all of his training in very good time. He isn't sure which company he's going to work for, but we know that he'll be a wonderful driver with his new career.
James M. has finished our Professional Tractor Trailer Program. He came in with a great additude, followed the lesson plan and ended up passing his first road test. Now he is planning on starting a new career with Schneider.
Michael K. has finished his Professional Training program with us here at Interstate and we could not be more happy for him. He came in with a great additude and was able to go from Day 1 in Class to starting a job with Halvor Lines in just over a month.
Roselyn is a student that we wish we could keep around. She came in, followed the program and passed her test with flying colors. She's planning on working for Amazon and we know that she'll be one of the best drivers on the road. We wish her the very best.
Hussein D. came through our Professional Tractor Trailer Program. He was one of the hardest working students that we've seen in a long time. He followed the program and not only passed the test, he passed with flying colors. He's now going to be driving for Pilgrims.
Haley R. is one of those students that needed very little help because of how dedicated and tenacious she was with her training. She came in and followed the program and was done in 5 weeks. She's now driving with her husband (Ryan who's also a Interstate graduate) for TMC.
Jason D. just finished up his Professional course with us. He came in with some knowledge but knew that going to a school would greatly benefit him. Now he's a new truck driver ready to start his new career.

Thomas R. just graduated from Interstate's 160 Hour Program. He has a lot of companies that he'd like to go to work for and now he has the certificate and knowledge to be one of the best drivers on the road.
Ayla S. from Milaca MN, graduated from our Professional Tractor Trailer Program. She needed a program that could work around the fact that she would be coming from a town about an hour and a half away. With our flexibility we were able to make it work. She was a fantastic student and will for sure be a safe and reliable truck driver.
Curtis just graduated from our 160 Hour Professional Tractor Trailer Program. He came in with a great additude and kept his head high. While he isn't sure which company he's going to be driving for yet, we know that he'll make a excellent driver.

Michelle did a great job in her training program. Learning to drive a big rig can be intimidating - so many new skills to learn. Our instructors do the best job at rewarding all benchmarks in the training process. They also know how to approach those areas where a student may struggle to help them keep focused and positive on their progress. We want everyone to be comfortable in the truck so we do not limit time with simulator or backing range practice.
Listening and trusting the process are essential components to successfully completing the Interstate Truck Driving School programs. Frequently, we have students enroll who are working either a full-time or part-time jobs. Interstate is open 7 days a week; Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, Saturdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sundays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. This provides our students ample opportunity to get their training completed. In Bill's case, he had some long hours but he was determined and put in the work necessary to successfully complete the Class A program.
At Interstate Truck Driving School we really encourage our students to work together practicing pre-trip inspections and studying for their road tests. Many students work in pairs or teams to help each other. As in Todd's case - it really pays off to have this additional support.
Lisa was a fabulous student! She put in the time and effort to make sure she had the skillset down to pass her pre-trip inspection and road test. She was also very helpful in counseling other students who asked for her assistance, which is always much appreciated. She had a great work-ethic, always on time and prepared.

Donald came through our Professional Tractor Trailer and is now going to be working for his current employer, Synergy RV Transport. He finished his program in 7 weeks and passed his first road test.

Andrew T. from Hudson WI took our Professional Tractor Trailer Course and is now a Professional Truck Driver. He used his Post 9/11 GI Bill Benefits to get the funding for the course and after putting in the work he was able to get his Class A CDL. He's not sure where he wants to go to work yet, but there's no doubt that he'll be one of the safest drivers on the road.
Ed came in to Interstate dedicated to getting his CDL and starting a new job to better his life. That's exactly what he got. He came in, put in the work and the time needed and new he's planning on driving for Schneider.

Micheal B. has finished his training program. He started with classroom time, working on rules of the road along with the most important topic, the Pre-Trip Inspection. He spent a lot of time working on that Pre-Trip so there would be no questions as to how comfortable he was with that portion of the test. After completing some One-on-One behind the wheel time with out excellent instructors, Micheal passed his first road test with flying colors.
Kris from Northfield, MN has just finished his Professional Training Course. He was sent to us from McLane and now he'll be driving for them, delivering goods all over the metro and 5 state area. Kris started his training with in early November and in less than 6 weeks he was able to pass his first road test with flying colors, and complete his training.
Dennis Barry served with the U. S. Army and was deployed three times overseas. His life after the service has not been easy for him....he has faced some real challanges.
When Dennis came to us, he was commited to doing whatever it takes to complete his training and create a new opportunity for himself. He did just that and it was our pleasure working with him.

Aimee did a great job progressing through the training program. She did most of her training part time so she came in evenings and weekends. She was always on time and very focused which indicates she is going to do very well in the trucking industry.
Ryan Rask has completed his training here at Interstate Truck Driving School and has a job lined up at TMC out of Des Moines IA. Since Ryan will be pulling a flatbed spread axle trailer at TMC, we did his final phase of training with a flatbed spread axle trailer so he is ready to hit the ground running when he gets to TMC. We also have an electronic logging system that Ryan was using so he is familiar with that process.
Ryan did a great job throughout his training. He was very focused and constantly improved his skill set. We are sure he will be very successful at TMC.
Troy really has a great attitude toward learning and improving. He listened intently during all of his training and really applied himself. He passed his 1st road test with flying colors.
John is not 21 yet so he needed a local job. He did a really good job with his training and we are certain he will succeed in the trucking industry.

He was driving from pretty far away so we here at Interstate were able to use our flexible scheduling to make the training work for him and his schedule. He took advantage of our online training and the fact that we are open 7 days a week to complete the course.
Mohamed Hagi just finished his training at Interstate. He finished up his Professional Course with flying colors and now he's got a local job with Schneider right out of school.
Pam really worked hard at learning what it takes to be successful driving a big rig. Merlin did a great job with his training with us. He passed his first CDL road test. He also did a really good job with the big rigs and demonstrated excellent backing skills.
Terry took our 160 Hour Professional Refresher Program. This training will qualify him for a position with the major trucking companies that hire our students. The Program can be completed in as little as three weeks. Couse work can be done remotely online as Terry did. A valid Class A CDL license is required to enroll in this program. Jon was very excited when he passed his first CDL Road Test. He was very nervous prior to the test but he did a good job and nailed the pre-trip inspection along with all of the driving manuevers. He is headed off to Halvor Lines.

Oscar I. from Fridley completed his 160 Hour Professional Tractor Trailer Program today. Oscar did a great job on his training start to finish. He is not certain where he is going to work yet but one thing is for certain....there have never been so many opportunities for new truck drivers as there are now. Every day we turn companies away that are looking for drivers since we have so many great companies already recruiting our students. The latest industry reports indicate freight rates are continuing to climb. That means better opportunities for our graduates. We hear from former students on almost a daily basis and they all report "life is good behind the wheel". Interstate Truck Driving School is approved by the state agency for students using their G I Bill benefits for education. Since Interstate is also owner and operated by a U. S. Army Veteran, we have a strong commitment to assisting our Vets in every way possible. Tanner demonstrated his commitment to his new industry while training with us and we are sure he will be successful out on the road.
Chris Reich traveled all the way from Vista California to attend Interstate Truck Driving School. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations allow drivers to take training in a state they do not live in, take their CDL Road Test in the state they took their training, and then return to their home state to obtain their CDL. Most states cooperate in this system. Chris came to us because the testing delays in California are so long he could get the training and testing done quicker by traveling to our school.
McLane has another great new driver. Lee passed his passed his 1st CDL road test to obtain his Class A License and then finished up Phase Two of his training with flying colors.
Matt had a lot of things going on with his schedule so he took advantage of our online training materials. He really applied himself and passed his first road test with flying colors. He hopes to go to work for a "Heavy Haul" outfit.
Andrew O. from Frost Minnesota just completed his 160 Hour Professional Tractor Trailer Training Program. Andrew already had experience driving trucks on the farm and did a really good job at improving his skills and knowledge. He is going back to work with the family trucking business.
Joe is from Gilbert Minnesota...just east of Eveleth up on the Iron Range. He is working on getting a job up in that area.
Justin was an excellent student and also a great member of the student body. He was always willing to jump in and help other students whenever he could. Guys like Justin make our campus an awesome experience for everyone!
Chris W. from Eagan completed his Professional Tractor Trailer Program on Friday February 3rd and is headed off to Schneider on Monday February 5th. He finished his training with instructor Phil Kampa who drove for Schneider prior to becoming an instructor with us so Chris is well prepared to do well in Green Bay.
Essofa M completed his 160 Hour Professional Tractor Trailer Training program and is headed off to Swift. Essofa passed his pre trip inspection test on the first try but did not make it past the first road test. With our support, he stayed focused and had no trouble with his second attempt and passed with no problem. He then did a really good job on the finishing phase of his training with the Big Rigs. He will have no trouble becoming successful as a professional driver.
Tyler is going to be very successful at McLane. He paid attention 100 percent of the time and did a great job getting ready for his CDL road test. His efforts paid off when he passed his first road test!
Tom is a no nonsense guy that likes to get things done. He pays attention to details so he will no doubt be very successful in the trucking industry.Tom is joining Knight Transportation partly because he wants the experience with manual non-synchronized transmissions. He did a great job during his training sessions so he is well prepared.
Dan is one of those guys that asks a ton of questions. We welcome his enthusiasm and thirst for knowledge. Everyone learns more with people like Dan involved in the training process.
Anil started his training in early December and completed right after the first of the year. He is starting 2017 off in the right direction and has gone to work for Reliakor Services.
Gary Burns Jr attended Interstate the summer of 2016 and is now working for a Pepsi distributer.
Marco really did a good job getting ready for his test and passed his CDL Road Test in his first attempt. Marco and his friend Victor drove up from Owatonna and they helped each other out though the process.
Federal Rules allow students to travel to other states to take their training and testing. Not all of the states cooperate with the Federal Rules but we are able to training most people under our Wisconsin school license and then provide access to testing in Hudson Wisconsin. Clint is from South Carolina and took advantage of our program.
Alex C. from Mound, MN just graduated from Interstate's 160 Hour Professional Tractor Trailer Program. He was dedicated from the start and worked really hard to get through the course and now he's going to be starting his new career as a truck driver. He'll be driving for Halvor Lines.

Tyrone Henry came to our school to get his Class A CDL. During the course of his training, he ran into some health issues and needed to put his training on hold. So she decided to come to our school and take our Professional Tractor Trailer Course so she could not only get her Class A CDL, but also a wealth of knowldge when it comes to driving safely. Troy came to Interstate with his sites set on a CDL job with the Minnesota DNR. He took the 160 Hour Professional Tractor Trailer Program. Now he has the Class A licesne and the training to not only work for the DNR, but for any of the companies that we work with.
