Schneider's 'On The Road To Being A Healthy Driver'

One of the largest truck load carriers Schneider recently posted a couple articles from driver JD Simpson. JD started his journey in 2013 when he met his fiance.

We were talking one day and she said, “I want you to be around for a long time. You need to get healthy.” That flipped the light switch.  I had found a diet that really worked for me and by early 2014, I had lost a lot of weight."

While some people may find JD's diet a bit extreme, he got the results that he was looking for. The article is posted in two parts.

We have always promoted the idea of healthy living. It can be a very difficult task to complete as a truck driver, but there are many many changes that can be made in order to be healthy and JD is a prime example on how if you want it bad enough, you can have it. 

"My eating right and exercising more than the typical daily activity has led to excellent cholesterol (both good and bad), normal blood pressure, a normal A1C (blood sugar) level and best of all, I may not be on a CPAP much longer! All because of the caring words of my girlfriend and the things I now choose to eat and choose to do."
