August 12th UPDATE

CDL Permit Tests now available without delays!

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety has invested significant resources at their exam stations to ramp up access to knowledge testing.  The downtown St. Paul location at 445 Minnesota Street is reported to have the best service at this time.  We have also heard reports of short wait times and good service at the metro exam stations in Eagan, Arden Hills, and Plymouth.

For a Class A Permit, students need to take three knowledge tests; General Knowledge, Air Brakes, and Combinations.  Class B drivers do not need the Combinations test.  An 80% or better score is required to pass the knowledge tests.  We do have a free class available via Zoom to prepare drivers for the permit tests.

We are continuing to offer training programs starting every Monday.  The first five days of class are provided via Zoom internet conferencing in order to provide a safe environment for our staff and students.  One on one training starts on Monday of the second week and students progress on a proficiency basis.

Trucking companies are contacting us every week looking for new drivers and most of our students have a job lined up before they graduate.

Please call our main campus at 651-735-9250 for more information on our training programs and fee permit preparation class.
